Susan Simpson

Susan Elizabeth Simpson was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on February 5, 1962 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 11, 2018 at the age of 56 years. Susan was the daughter of Wayne Simpson and Sharon Ann (Boxwell) Ingram. She was a resident of the Stroud & Cushing area most of her life. She attended Stroud and Happy Valley School District. Susan graduated from Stroud High School in 1980. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud and was a Med Aide Nurse at Stroud Health Care for fourteen years and loved to take care of people. She was like her mother, Sharon a big Thunder Fan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Ingram, other father, Larry Ingram, paternal grandparents, Leslie & Marie Simpson and maternal grandparents, Roy & Pauline Boxwell and Dewey and Blanche Ingram. Survivor include, father and mother, Wayne and Pat Simpson of Cushing, three brothers, Michael Simpson and wife Kimberly of Harker Heights, TX., Bobby Simpson of Cushing, Terry Schlegel & wife Abby of Cheyenne Wyoming, three sisters, Shawna Powell & husband Billy of Stroud, Amy Ingram of Stroud and Kim Camren & husband James of Mannford, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Paul Ragle officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
