Susan Elaine Snell

May 18, 1949 — November 21, 2022

Susan Elaine Snell was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 18, 1949 and went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2022 at the age of 73.


Susan was the daughter of Eugene and Betty (Williams) Eaves. Susan married Bruce Snell on August 12, 1967 in Corona, CA. She and Bruce became a resident of Stroud in 1980, she then moved to Oklahoma City in 2018 to be closer to her family after Bruce passed in 2016. Susan was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud. She worked for many years as the Financial Clerk with the Stroud and Davenport Schools. She was also very involved with the Habitat for Humanity, Jacob’s Ladder, and the Stroud Food Pantry. Susan really loved helping her community when and where she could. She enjoyed being around family and friends and hosting get togethers at the backyard “tiki hut”. She also treasured travelling with world with Bruce and attending OSU football games with close friends. Susan’s kind spirit will be missed.


Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce, and her parents.


Susan is survived by her son Brian Snell and wife Bethan Langlois; grandson Matt Snell and wife Hailey; grandson Brandon Snell and wife Kallie; granddaughter Aimee Langlois; granddaughter Ashley Ingraham and husband Symmes; great grandson Cohen Bruce Snell; sister Leslie Alfano and husband Mike; brother Phil Eaves and wife Sally; and brother-in-law Mike McGuigan and wife Becky; as well as many extended families and a host of friends.


A memorial service honoring Susan’s life will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church, Stroud, OK. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.parksbrothers.net. Care Services are provided by of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
