Sue Huffman

Peggy Sue Huffman was born on March 2, 1939, in Chandler, OK, and departed this life on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at her home surrounded by family, at the age of 72. Sue, the daughter of Henry David and Fady (Wakley) Suggs, was a long-time resident of Chandler. She married Carl James Huffman on May 3, 1958. Sue was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler. Her parents, husband, one sister, and one brother preceded Sue in death. Survivors include, two sons & daughters-in-law, Eric & Kerri Huffman of Colorado Springs, CO, Greg & Kim Huffman of Tahlequah, OK, two daughters & sons-in-law, Carla & Neal Lane of Chandler, OK, Leah & Dirk Bosley of Penrose, CO, one brother, Harold Walkely of Chandler, OK, two sisters, Lavada Place of Chandler, OK, Patsy Ninness of Davenport, OK, 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Sue Huffman to Samaritans's Purse, C/O First Baptist Church, 912 W. 1st St., Chandler, OK 74834 Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
