Sue Galbraith

Sue Galbraith, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on November 9, 1932, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on June 18, 2014, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 81 years. Sue was the daughter of Ray and Pricie (Walters) Shafer. She married Charles Galbraith on May 22, 1953, in Van Buren, Arkansas. Sue worked in telephone operations at Southwestern Bell for many years, and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Her parents, husband, one sister, one brother, and one great- grandson preceded Sue in death. Survivors include, one daughter and son-in-law, Tena and Greg Klopfenstein of Birmingham, Alabama; two sons and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Beth Galbraith of Chandler, and Chuck Galbraith of Guthrie, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Teresa Shafer of Catoosa, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Joann Shafer of Chandler; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charitable organization of your choice. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 23, 2014, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, with Rev. Doyle Seeley officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
