Sue Ann (Wright) Martin was born in Chandler, Oklahoma on April 23, 1935. She went to be with her Father on September 6, 2020. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mary Olive (Key) Wright, and her brother Thomas Key Wright. She is survived by two children Katherine DiAnn Brown and husband Tom of Stillwater, OK and Stan Martin and wife Sue of Bellevue, WA. She has four grandchildren Drew Brown of Pasadena, CA, Taylor Brown of Boise, ID, Avery Brown of Stillwater, OK, and Brady Brown of Stillwater, OK; one sister, Charlene Jarrett of Lexington, VA and a sister-in-law Karen Wright of Shawnee, OK; as well as many nephews and nieces. Sue grew up in Chandler, OK and enjoyed working at her father’s drug store, Wright Drug. She attended the University of Oklahoma and then married Howard Martin from Davis, OK in 1955. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years raising her son and daughter. While raising children, she lived in Oklahoma City, OK, Richardson, TX, Walnut Creek, CA, Bellevue, WA and Boise, ID before returning to Chandler in 1976. During her time, in Chandler she worked at Hite Drug, and the Friends Mid-State Christian Academy teaching first grade. Sue also worked for Chandler Public Schools. Sue dedicated her life to Christ when she was thirty years old and was a member of the Friends Church of Chandler and the First Baptist Church of Chandler. She spent her life worshipping and serving the Lord. She was an incredible mother, sister, friend, and teacher, but most importantly she was an example of a Godly woman who loved the Lord more than anything else and helped others know Him better.
