Stephanie (Mcpherson) Sands

Stephanie Jane (McPherson) Sands was born on October 3, 1956, in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, June 10, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 53. Stephanie, the daughter of Stephen Earl and Irene (Marrs) McPherson, was a resident of Prague. She graduated from Lamar High School in Lamar, Colorado with the class of 1974. Stephanie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague, and worked for Citizen’s State Bank in Paden and Greer Restaurant Service in Prague as a secretary. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Clayton Smith of Lakin, KS, Lesli and Jamie Baca of Granada, CO; son and daughter-in-law, Zach and Erin Widener of Fort Morgan, CO; parents, Stephen and Irene McPherson of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Karen McPherson of Marlow, OK, Herb and Kristin McPherson of Pratt, KS; grandchildren, Ashlyn Jane and Cody Lane Smith, Joshua Steven, Kaitlin Rose, and Avery Dawne Baca, Morgan Renee, Tyler Steven, Alexa Jane and Taylor Rae Widener. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Rev. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
