Stella Manek

Stella Manek age 96, of Harrah, was born August 5, 1918, in Jones, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Joseph & Mary (Begarek) Elcyzyn. She left this life on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, in Midwest City, OK. Stella married Tom J. Manek on February 21, 1939, in Harrah, OK. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Stella enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom and son, Tommy Joe Manek. She is survived by her son, Everett Manek, Harrah, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Darlene & Louis Geissler, Harrah, OK; brother, Paul Elcyzyn, Kingston, OK; sister, Jessie Downey, Chillicothe, MO; 8 grandchildren, Aimee Larsen, Pete Manek, Onna Marie Warren, Sonya LeMaster, Kevin Geissler, Rena Geissler, Traci Sorrells & Trey Manek; 12 great-grandchildren, Stacy Herndon, Natasha Gilligan, Tiffany LeMaster, Jenny Lynn Warren, Lucas LeMaster, Desiray Swisher, Chara Davison, Tana Davison, Matthew Sorrells, Rylee Mosley, Gracee Mosley, Lane Larsen; 14 great-great-grandchildren, Dara Herndon, Taylor Herndon, Max Herndon, Austin Whitlock, Jordan Gilligan, Erianna Mullenberg, Maddy Mullenberg, Tessa Mullenberg, Emerra Le Master, Avery Swisher, Kaylee Watson, Wyatt Watson, Blayden Lindsey, Makya Muskett and many other relatives and friends. Rosary & Wake will be 6:45 P.M., Sunday, December 21, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Prakash Madineni officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
