Stella Arlene Coley

Stella Arlene Coley, Shawnee, Oklahoma, resident was born on April 23, 1933, at West Hamlin, West Virginia, and departed this life on August 8, 2014, in Shawnee, at the age of 81 years. Stella was the daughter of Charles and Nancy (Pelfrey) Baker. She married Homer Coley in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stella worked as a LPN for many years at local hospitals and nursing homes. Her parents, and husband preceded Stella in death. Survivors include, one son, Charles M. Baker of Flat Woods, Kentucky; two daughters, Evelyon Beaman of Shawnee, and Celstia G. Belitz of Flat Woods, Kentucky; one brother, John W. Baker of Flat Woods, Kentucky; and one sister Jean McCalip of Indiana; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
