Stanley Zeek Hull, 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at his home in Mannford, Oklahoma.
Stanley was born on January 10, 1937, in Matoy, Oklahoma to O.L. and Gracie (Nichols) Hull. He attended school in Matoy, finishing up his education at Wapanucka High School, Wapanucka, Ok. Stanley served our country in the United States Airforce for 3 ½ years where he was stationed at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. From his service, came a life-long interest in aviation.
On March 26th, 1959, Stanley married Mildred Clees in Foss, Oklahoma.
Stanley spent most of his life in construction as a heavy equipment operator. He assisted in building highways, bridges, neighborhoods, oil fields, among other projects. Stanley enjoyed being on a bulldozer and working in the dirt. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed listening to all genres of music from country and western to rock and roll to the Blues. He also enjoyed buying old record players and fixing them.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, O.L. and Gracie Hull; sister, Mary Gray; and his brother, Evert Hull.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mildred Hull; daughters, Charlene Davidson, and Beckie McCorkle; grandsons, Cheyenne Robinson, and Jarred McCorkle; great-grandchildren, Marshall Robinson, Raegen Robinson, Dahlia McCorkle, Violet McCorkle, and Iris McCorkle; sister, Raydonia Herring; brother, Larry Hull; sister-in-law, Ann Hull; as well as many nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
