Stacy Marie Tyra

Stacy Marie Tyra was born on July 19, 1954, in Long Beach, California, and departed this life on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 63. Stacy, the daughter of Robert Vierregger and Helen Kalhorn, was a resident of Prague since 1991. Stacy graduated from David Starr Jordan High School in Long Beach, California with the class of 1972. She married Ron Tyra who, preceded her in death on February 8, 2017. Stacy loved people and could 'talk to the wall,' and practiced this ability at Beachlers IGA in Prague where she worked for several years. She was also a lover of animals, particularly her two dogs, and often made room in her own home for animals that had none. Stacy is survived by her son and daughter in law, Zach and Alyssa Tyra of Jones. Brother John Vierregger of Hemet, California, Sister Gayle Bannister of Lakewood, California, Father-in-Law Tommy Hillsberry of Prague, and cousin Regina Holdridge of Paden.
