Sondra Jean Tislow

Sondra Jean Tislow, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born August 25, 1946, in Seminole, Oklahoma. She departed this life on November 6, 2020, at her home in Chandler, at the age of 74 years. Sondra was the daughter of C. S. and Nina Pearl (Stafford) Dilday. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1964. Sondra married Michael Don “Mike” Tislow on January 27, 1965, in Seminole. She worked as a claim clerk at National American Insurance Company in Chandler for many years. Sondra was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother, and was also stubborn, & out- spoken. She loved bingo, going to the casino, also eating steak & crab legs. Sondra will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her parents, and one brother, Jackie Dilday preceded Sondra in death. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Mike Tislow; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Terri Tislow of Chandler, Tony and Debbie Tislow of Chandler; great-niece, Jenifer Lewis and husband Darren of Chandler; grandchildren, Trevan Tislow of Fairbanks, Alaska, Austin Tislow of Oklahoma City, Connor Tislow of Wellston, Oklahoma, Jacquelynn Tislow of Chandler, and Coady Lewis of Chandler; nieces & nephews, Barbara Ann Givings of Oklahoma City, Donald Dilday of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and Jackie Bohon of Newalla, Oklahoma, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, with dear friend Ron Slayton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
