Sidney Greenfield

Sidney Greenfield, long-time, Tryon, Oklahoma, resident, was born on May 17, 1944, near Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 21, 2004, at his residence in Tryon, Oklahoma, at the age of 60 years. Sidney was the son of Claude and Ira Mae Jackson Greenfield. He attended school at Agra, where he later met Betty Ann Pittser. They were married on December 24, 1962. Sidney worked for Otasco, as a Mechanic, he then worked as a Groundskeeper for Oklahoma State University. His parents, six brothers and one sister preceded Sidney in death. Survivors include: Wife of 41 years; Betty of the Home: Two sons & daughter-in-law:Sidney Greenfield II of Tryon, OK; Paul & Mariesa Greenfield of Tryon, OK: One daughter & son-in-law: Elizabeth & Roger Bodley, Woodward: 6 Grandchildren: Shallon and Kelsey of Woodward; Lisa, Anna, Thomas, & Ryan of Tryon: Three brothers & sisters-in-law:Dale & Shirley Greenfield of Tryon, OK; Wayne & Marie Greenfield of Tryon, OK; Doye Greenfield of Cushing, OK: One sister & brother-in-law: Darlene & Jack Richardson of Sapulpa, OK: and a very special grandmother: Other relatives & many friends.
