Shirley Jean Dervin

Shirley Jean Dervin was born in Davenport, Oklahoma on January 15, 1941 and departed this life in Yukon, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 4, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Shirley was the daughter of Frank and Mattie Alice Lewis Jackson. She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. She worked as secretary for Jim Dervin Electric Contractor for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Stroud. Shirlely married Jim Dervin in Stroud on August 25, 1978. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Gary Coon, one daughter, Cindy, two sisters, Survivors include, husband Jim of the home, four sons, Danny Coon of Colgate, Todd Coon of Perkins, Bryan Dervin of Stroud, Chris Messer of Stroud, two daughters, Julie Whitmore of Oklahoma City, Deana Williams of Stroud, 39 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church in Stroud on Friday, Sept. 9 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Paul Ragle officiating.
