Shirley Ann Messer

Shirley Ann Messer, was born on Sunday, March 22, 1953, in Monterey Park, California. She was the daughter of Harold "Jim" James and Earnestine "Tina" Marie (McGraw) Messer. Shirley grew up in California and graduated high school while in California. Shirley moved to Prague, in the late 1970's with her family. Shirley lived a simple but very enjoyable life. She was a social butterfly and made friends, everywhere she went. She had a charm about her that made everyone around her like her and put a smile on everyone's face. She loved to do beadwork, making lovely bracelets and key chains. She loved watching people dance and ice skate. Shirley was also a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked and obtained the level of Ruth. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Tina Messer and one brother-in-law. She is survived by her sister, Linda Young; nephews, Paul Swanson and his wife, Kathy and Michael Swanson and his wife, Mary; nieces, Sasha Cagle, Porscha Coleman and Megan Swanson.
