Shirley Ann Hopkins was born in Sparks, Oklahoma on August 16, 1937 and departed this life at her home on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Shirley was the daughter of Guy Grover and Millie Ann (Stewart) Hopper. She was a resident of Lincoln County all of her life, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Davenport, was a member of the Eastern Star and a homemaker. Shirley loved her OSU Cowboys. Shirley graduated from Chandler High School in 1955, she married Arch N. Hopkins in Davenport on June 1, 1958 and he preceded her in death May 31, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Survivors include, two sons, Clay Hopkins of Edmond, Shane Hopkins of Davenport, one daughter and son in law, Shawna and Craig Schimke of Edmond, two grandchildren, Colin and Cole Hopkins of Edmond, one niece, Debbie Hopper & husband Larry, three nephews, Stanley Hopper & wife Denise, Jimmy Hopper & wife Valerie, Gordon Hopper, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at the Stroud Cemetery on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Joe Meinhart and Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Davenport.
