Sheri Anne Mains was born on July 8, 1955, in Chandler, Oklahoma. She passed away on January 9, 2023, at the home she shared with her daughter Chelsie in Ada, Oklahoma.
Sheri was raised in Davenport, Oklahoma by her parents Pete and Ann Johnson. After graduating from Davenport High School, she married the late Billy Dale Mains in 1973. Sheri And Bill later moved to Cashion, Oklahoma where they raised their two children. She spent their years together being a devoted wife and mother and a wonderful homemaker for her family and partner in her and Bill's welding company. In 1989 Sheri returned to Davenport to make a home for her and the girls.
In 1992 Sheri was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She was a fighter, and she wasn't giving up.... as she would tell you regularly. MS was a very debilitating disease that over time took her independence, strength and her ability to walk but she kept going. Her strong will and faith in God gave her the strength she needed. She spent many years in a nursing facility due to her illness. When Covid came along, Sheri went home to live with her daughter Chelsie. On January 9th, 2023, Sheri passed from this life in her home in Ada, Oklahoma. After 30 years, Sheri won her battle with MS. She no longer has any pain. She isn't in a wheelchair and is in heaven with all her loved ones that arrived before her. What a beautiful day it must be!
