Sharon L. Vandenburg

Sharon Lynette Vandenburg was born on November 17, 1940, in Los Angeles, CA, and departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2010, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 69 years. Sharon, the daughter of Roy Albert and Esther (Mason) Sumner, was a resident of Midwest City, OK. She worked as a Medical Administrative Assistant for many years and was a member of Bethel Church in Choctaw, OK. Her parents, two husbands and a daughter-in-law preceded Sharon in death. Survivors include, sons, Phillip Vandenburg of OKC, OK, Ricky Vandenburg of Upland, CA, daughters, Brenda McCracken of Chandler, OK, Lori Waggner of Washington, UT, Sherry Deicks of Riverside, CA, brother, Larrell Sumner of Apple Valley, CA, sister, Lola Scroggins of Upland, CA, special friends, Gerald Hand and family of New Walla, OK, 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 10:00 A.M., at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, OK with Pastor Frank Wiley officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
