Shane Alton Hibbert

May 12, 1978 — February 13, 2020

Shane Alton Hibbert of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 41. Shane was born on May 12, 1978 in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of James Hibbert and Beverly “Cookie” Gustafson. Following his father’s death, stepfathers, Ron Lunn and Gary Gustafson were both very influential in Shane’s life. Shane was a longtime resident of Prague, he attended Prague Schools and was well known around the community due to his lawn work with Hilltop Lawn Care in Prague. Shane was known as a hard worker and he put everything he had into his work. He loved to tinker with cars and other gadgets. He had a big heart and would offer help to anyone who needed it. If he did not know how to do something, it never took him long to figure out a way and of course if that didn’t work, he always had a backup plan. Shane was preceded in death by his father, James Hibbert; one brother, Shawn Hibbert; grandfather, Billy “Slim” Vanworth and his stepfather, Gary Gustafson. He is survived by mother and stepfather, Cookie Gustafson and Ron Lunn; his wife, Kerry Hibbert; his children, Kristina Hibbert, James Hibbert, Alex Hibbert and Shane Hibbert II; sister, Nickole Little and her husband Buddy and one grandson, Jayden Hibbert. Shane also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
