Sarah Elizabeth Owen

Sarah Elizabeth Owen was born on January 18, 1994, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on April 19, 2015, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 21. Sarah grew up and attended school in the Mustang and Norman area, later attending college at OCCC. She worked at Gateway Mortgage in Norman, where she was studying the mortgage business. Sarah loved being around her family and friends. Her hobbies included music, writing, going to the lake, art work and she was obsessed with Batman. Survivors include: mother, Staci and her husband, Rick, of Norman; father, Terry Owen of Mustang; brothers, Jeremy Owen of Norman and Samuel Owen of Norman; grandparents, Jack and Louise Hammersley of Alex, Jeri Owen of Oklahoma City and Norman and Jeanette Edwards of Plano, TX; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2015, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the John Ireland Funeral Home in Moore. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 12:00 PM, at Journey Church in Norman with Bro. Timothy Dearhamer and Bro. James Bracklein officiating. Interment will follow at Mustang Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
