Sammy Charles (Chuck) Hurst Jr

Sammy (Chuck) Charles Hurst Jr. was born in Chandler, Oklahoma on January 19, 1963 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the age of 52 years. Sammy was the son of the late Sammy Charles Hurst Sr. and Carmen (Messer) Hurst. He was a resident of the Stroud & Kendrick area all of his life. He was a 1981 Stroud High School graduate. He was affiliated with the Kendrick Christian Church and worked for Williams Grocery in Stroud as a Meat Processer /Market Manager. He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Sr. in 2004 and both paternal and maternal grandparents. Survivors include, his mother, Carmen Hurst of Stroud, two sisters, Michele Hurst and partner Jennifer Moulton of Arlington, TX; Kim Fine and husband Will, of Stroud; nieces, Jennifer Ashley Holleman of Stroud, and Emily Moulton-Hurst of Arlington, Tx; three Nephews, Zachary Levi Holleman of Edmond, Jordan Taylor Fine of Edmond, and Garrison Levi Moulton-Hurst of Arlington, TX ; and two great nephews, Langston Gage Holleman and Gavin Levi Holleman of Stroud, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 13, 2015 with Pastor Will Fine officiating. Burial will be at the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
