Sally Eunice Thornton

Sally Eunice Thornton, former Davenport, Oklahoma, resident, was born on November 12, 1921, in Meinefee County, Kentucky, and departed this life in Chandler, Oklahoma, on January 5, 2005, at the age of 83 years. Sally was the daughter of John and Easter Cornett Howard. She married Jesse H. Thornton on May 28, 1938, in Davenport, Oklahoma. Sally was a homemaker and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Springtown, Texas. Her parents, husband, three brothers and six sisters preceded Sally in death. Survivors include: Two sons & daughter-in-laws: Gary & Phyllis Thornton of Elk City, OK; Jess & Barbara Thornton of Springtown, TX; One sister & brother-in-law: Geneva & Tom Pomeroy of Davenport, OK; One brother: Roy Howard of Chandler, OK; other relatives and friends.
