Ruthie Smith

Ruthie Lue Smith was born on November 11, 1930, in Okfuskee County Ok, and departed this life on Monday, March 12, 2012, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 81. Ruthie, the daughter of Charlie and Dora Dean Hunt Rodebush, was a resident of Prague Oklahoma. Ruthie married Bob Smith on March 28, 1949 in Bristow Ok. Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; Horace, Obey, Otto and Acy Rodebush; and a niece Linda Crass. Survivors include her husband Bob Smith, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law,Patricia and John Pennington of McAlester Ok, Brenda Bennett of Fairfax Ok, and Luvonda and Greg Goad of Ralston Ok; sons and daughters-in-law Terry and Tracey Smith of Chickasha Ok, and Aaron and Jenny Smith of Prague Ok; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grand children; one sister Elcie Mae Winslow of Maud Ok; and numerous family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM, at the Prague Cemetery in Prague Ok with Rev Harold Rodebush officiating. There will be a visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Wednesday night and the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
