Ruth Strattan

Ruth Elaine Strattan was born on May 16, 1917, in Anadarko, OK, and departed this life Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at her home in Chandler, OK, at the age of 94 years. Ruth was the daughter of Isac and Anna (Courtney) Stroud. She married Jack W. Strattan in Arizona. Ruth was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler. Her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters preceded Ruth in death. Survivors include one niece, Teresa, three nephews, Jay, Don, and Ike, two special friends, Jan Hodge, and Mary Evans, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 28, 2011, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Chandler, with Father Jim Mickus officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
