Ruth Smith

Ruth Mercer Smith was born on February 27, 1927, in Seminole County, OK, and departed this life on Thursday, July 13, 2006, in Prague, OK, at the age of 79. Ruth, the daughter of John and Florence Richardson Mercer, was a resident of Prague. She married Dan Smith on May 13, 1942. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of Faith Bible Church. Her parents, three brothers, three sisters, and one great-granddaughter preceded Ruth in death. Survivors include, her husband of 64 years, Dan Smith of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Anita Smith of Prague, Jimmy Smith of Prague, Gary and Debbie Smith of Prague, Ronny and Gail Smith of Shawnee, Davy and Paula Smith of Decatur, TX; daughters and son-in-law,Donna and David Davidson of Prague, Dana Carter of Prague; 21 Grandchildren; 23 Great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews; A host of friends.
