Ruth May Bucknum

Ruth May Bucknum was born on August 15, 1922, in Lincoln County, Oklahoma and departed this life on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, in Chandler, OK, at the age of 86. Ruth was the daughter of Leonard Homer and Edith Mary Burger Gough. She married C M Bucknum at El Reno, Oklahoma, on October 15, 1940. She worked many years for the Lincoln County Court Clerk Office. Ruth was active in the First Christian Church of Chandler and the Junior Mothers Club. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Vickie Sue Wilkinson. Survivors include daughter Sharon Kay Taylor of Katy, TX. Six Grandchildren Scott Taylor of Tracy, CA., Kathy Kuehne of Grapevine, TX., Piper Taylor of Katy, TX., Gregg Taylor of Katy, TX., Andy Wilkinson & Katy Wilkinson. Eight Great Grandchildren Kelsey Taylor, Olivia Taylor, Maya Taylor, Madelyn Kuehne, Abigayle Kuehne, Victoria Taylor, Kaitlyn Taylor, Alex Taylor. One brother, Homer Gough of San Antonio, TX. Other relatives and cousins in Sparks and Lincoln County. Funeral services will be at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 23, 2009 with Rev. Fred Rider officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
