Ruth Genell Flatt

Ruth Genell Flatt was born in Stigler, Oklahoma on September 16, 1926 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Ruth was the daughter of Wesley Jefferson and Tishy Mabel (Hale) Snow. Ruth was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma most of her life. She was member of the First Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma, and was the owner & operator of Flatt Drive In in Stroud. She was a on the Election Board for twenty five years. Ruth married Harry Jackson Flatt in Stigler, Oklahoma on July 17, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Survivors include, One Son, Donnie Flatt of Newalla, OK, One Daughter, Carole Thompson of Stroud, OK, One Sister,Glenda Roye of Stigler, OK,Four Grandchildren, Billy Gosnell, Bobbie Lynn Parcell, Shannon Louise Taylor and Crystal DeLeon, Nine Great Grandchildren,Three Great Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Memorial will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Stroud, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
