Ruth Diane (Sheets) Forrest

Enjoying life and family, Ruth Diane (Sheets) Forrest walked her path to Heaven on January 1, 2010. She was born on August 16, 1937, in Onida, South Dakota to Lawrence and Anne (Masten) Sheets. She married Cecil Ray Forrest on June 6, 1975, in Muskogee. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2006. Ruth was a cook and was of the Methodist faith. She and Cecil attended the Nazarene Church. Her father and sister, Pat Sheets, also preceded Ruth in death Survivors include her mother, Anne (Masten) Sheets of Tyler, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Jeanie Seachris of Paden; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jim Carman of Sand Springs and Rose and Rick Farris of Prague; step-daughters, Patty Anne Keenum of Castle, Francine Eastin of Bristow, Penny Fletcher of Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Bow Sheets of Akeley, MN; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Ronald Sjolin of Akeley, MN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
