Russell Clifton Davis, age 89, of Midwest City, OK, was born May 17, 1921, in Sweetwater, OK. He was the son of William A. & Mona P. Davis. He left this life on Sunday, November 21, 2010, in Norman, OK. Russell proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked for GE for over 25 years as an appliance repairman, was a dairy farmer and taught at Jr. College in Denver. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, baptized in 1946. Russell was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters and a granddaughter. Survivors include his wife, Fern Davis, Midwest City, OK; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Duane & Midge Davis, Harrah, OK, Tim & Brenda Davis, Houston, TX; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Kay & Dwayne Cleveland, Midwest City, OK, Kelly & Kevin Ballard, Colorado Springs, CO; 2 brothers, Jay Davis, Sweetwater, OK, Waddell Davis, Shamrock, TX; sister, Ada Ruth Diggs, Spearman, TX; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
