Ruby Opal Billins, age 88, of Oklahoma City, OK, was born on August 8, 1922, in Crowder, OK. She was the daughter of Joe Daniel & Ruthie Caroline (Wood) Webb. She left this life on Thursday, May 19, 2011, in Oklahoma City, OK. Ruby married James Melvin Billins, Sr. on December 24, 1941, in Crowder, OK. She was a member of the Minneha Free Will Baptist Church for over 40 years, where she was the song leader. Ruby was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, going to church, singing, crocheting, gardening, fishing, going places and visiting with people and pets. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, Roy & Bobby Billins, 1 grandson, Larry Billins and sister, Dorsie Woody. Survivors include her 2 sons & daughter-in-law, James, Jr. & Margaret Billins, McLoud, OK, Melvin Billins & special friend, Ron Baker, Nicoma Park, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Janice & Ron Roberts, Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Bernice Gesioroski, McLoud, OK; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson, Kyler Noak and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2011, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. J. R. Reid officiating. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
