Ruby Marie Craiger

Ruby Marie Craiger, Harrah, OK, age 81, was born on March 12, 1928, in Harrah, OK. She was the daughter of Wayne Roosevelt & Mable Marie Malaska Doxsie. She departed this life on April 15, 2009, in Oklahoma City, OK. Ruby graduated from Harrah High School in 1946. She married John Robert 'Bob' Craiger on November 18, 1950, at the United Methodist Church in Harrah, OK. She was a life long member of the Harrah United Methodist Church and the Quilting Diva''s. Ruby taught the Nursery Sunday School for over 25 years. Ruby was also very active in the Harrah Senior Center activities. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. Ruby''s family was very special to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Robert Allen Craiger. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, David & Sandra Craiger, Edmond, OK; daughter, Brenda Craiger, Oklahoma City, OK; daughter-in-law, Anita Craiger, Harrah, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Rosalie & Harold Manwell, Harrah, OK; 7 grandchildren, James Robert Craiger, Christy Craiger, Mitchell Craiger, Meredith Garrett, Heather Craiger, Marcella Craiger & Jennifer Shobert; 4 great-grandchildren, Madeline Craiger, Paisley Craiger, Brionna Tubbs & Olivia Tubbs, numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Harrah United Methodist Church, 2224 N. Harrison Harrah, OK, 73045 Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, at the Harrah United Methodist Church, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Glenda Skinner-Noble officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
