Ruby L. Stowers

Ruby L. Stowers, long-time Sparks, Oklahoma, resident was born October 3, 1929, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life June 12, 2015, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Ruby was the daughter of Virgil Lee and Mary Ella (McCleary) Davis. She married Dearl 'Puge' Stowers on December 5, 1947. Ruby worked at the Prague Locker Plant for many years, and was a member of the Sparks First Baptist Church. Her parents, husband, and one son, Carl Edward Stowers; preceded Ruby in death. Survivors include, one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Shirley Davis of Sparks; one daughter-in-law, Lana Matheron; one brother-in-law, Dewey 'Gabby' Stowers; two grandchildren, Shawn and his wife Gina Stowers, and Amanda Stowers Holman; four great-grandchildren, Seth, Caleb, Bella, and Alex; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at White Dove Cemetery, Sparks, Oklahoma, with Rev. Perry Trip officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
