Ruby Jean Mize

Ruby Jean Mize was born in Sparks, Oklahoma on July 11, 1930 and departed this life in Stillwater, Oklahoma on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Ruby was the daughter of Guy and Millie (Stewart) Hopper. Ruby was a resident of Chandler. She was affiliated in the Sparks First Baptist Church and worked for the Abstract Office in Chandler. Ruby married Maynard E. Mize in Shawnee, Oklahoma on April 18, 1953. He preceded her in death September 22, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Millie Hopper and one brother, Guy. Ruby is survived by one daughter and son in law, Debbie and Larry Taulman of Pawnee, one sisters, Shirley Hopkins of Davenport, one grandson, Derrick and two great grandsons, Zackary and Justin, others friends and relatives. Graveside service will be held at the Oak Parks Cemetery on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
