Ruby J. Teague

Ruby J. Teague was born on November 6, 1926, in Utica, OK, and departed this life on Sunday, March 13, 2005, in Prague, OK, at the age of 78. Ruby, the daughter of Jim and Pearl Peton Patton, was a long-time resident of Prague. She married James Teague on October 20, 1945, in Durant, OK. Ruby attended Southeastern State College and received a BS Degree from OBU. She taught at Prague Elementary school more than 20 years. Ruby was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, served as the Lincoln County Voter Registrar for many years, and a former member of the Prague Hospital Board. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague where she taught Sunday school, a member of the Lincoln County Retired Teacher?s Association, and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Her parents and two brothers preceded Ruby in death Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James Teague of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Sharon Teague of Oklahoma City, Stuart and Sherry Teague of Prague; daughters and son-in-law, Belinda and Ted Nakamura of Oklahoma City, Priscilla Mars of Prague; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
