Roy Eugene Flatt, Sr.

Roy Eugene Flatt, Sr. departed this life on September 1, 2021. Roy was born to Roy and Nancy (Bibee) Flatt on June 17, 1937 in Depew, Oklahoma. Roy has always been a resident of Lincoln County. He married Mary Holik December 14, 1959 until her passing in January of 2018. Roy was an extremely hard worker, he worked for many years as a carpenter and then helped Mary at her daycare. Roy enjoyed being around his family, especially his grandkids. He was always helping someone if they needed it. Roy will be greatly missed. Roy is survived by his son Roy Flatt Jr. and wife Karen; son Lonnie Flatt and wife Regina; son James Flatt and wife Becky and daughter Nancy Wright and husband Kevin; 10 grandchildren Terry, Bobbie, Michaela, Alexandria, Tyler, Julia, Ashley, Danny and Houston. 11 great-grandchildren Mariah, Lacey, Ryan, Chris, Hannah, Camden, Paige, John, Zander, Tori and Braxton and Brody; 4 great great grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends. Roy is preceded in death by his wife Mary and his grandson Kim Flatt. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Stroud Cemetery.
