Roy E. Jones

Roy E. Jones was born in Kellyville, Oklahoma on May 14, 1928 and departed this life in Agra, Oklahoma on May 11, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Roy was the son of Orum W. and Pearl V. (Goodwin) Jones. Roy was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma most of his life. Roy was in the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict and was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator. Roy married Linda J. Johnson on April 7, 1975 in Stroud, OK. Linda preceded him in death on February 9. 2008. He was also preceded in death his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include, Two Sons, Kenny R. Jones of Agra, OK, Bill Jones & wife Shirley of Stroud, OK, Two Daughters, Debra K. Pritchett of Oklahoma City, Patty L. Davis of Stroud, OK, One Brother, Orum Jones of Norman, OK, Two Sisters, May McGuire of Sapulpa, OK, Pat Richards of Oklahoma City, Nine Grandchildren, Scott Pritchett, April Weaver, Tracy Murfin, Kristie Miller, Corky Davis, Dustin Jones, Tim Jones, Nikki Jones, and Hannah Jones, Twelve Great Grandchildren, Paige Weaver, Lance Miller, Shae Weaver, Coby Davis, Alesha Helm, Emma Davis, Meghan Helm, Caleb Murfin, Ryanna Helm, Anna Miller, Peyton Davis, and Gabriella Murfin, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the New Covenant Church in Stroud, Ok on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Millard McGuire officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
