Roxie Mae Bivens

Roxie Mae Bivens was born on July 19, 1939, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Roxie, the daughter of Rufus Abe and Faye Dora Lilly Price, was a resident of Oklahoma City. She was married to Rocky Deno Bivens. He preceded her in death in 1996. Roxie worked as a waitress and was of the Pentecostal faith. Her parents and one sister also preceded Roxie in death. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Janet Marie and Jerry Wayne Langston of Oklahoma City, Yolanda Carol and Gerald Carter of Oklahoma City; brother, Rufus 'Bud' and Pat Price of Moore; sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrtle and Bob Banks of Bethany, Lilly June and Don Prescott of California; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Brother Samuel Clemons officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
