Rosie Lee Skropka Klimkowski, age 80, was born on July 24, 1923, in Harrah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Sunday, May 30, 2004, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Rosie was the daughter of Michael and Hedwig Zayonc Skropka. She graduated from McLoud High School and then worked for Douglas Aircraft during World War II. She married Valentine ?Willie? Klimkowski on June 21, 1949, in Harrah. She was a member of St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Alter Society, Polish Club and the McLoud High School Alumni. Rosie enjoyed sewing, crochet and baking; but most of all loved taking care of her family. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Felix and Leo Skropka; and one sister, Mary Herrin. Survivors include 3 sons & daughters-in-law, Valentine Joseph & Paula Klimkowski, Carmel, IN, Paul Edward & Camilla Klimkowski, Naples, Italy, Mark Anthony & Lori Klimkowski, Harrah, OK; daughter, Bernadette Klimkowski, Harrah, OK; 1 brother & sister-in-law, Henry & Gloria Skropka, Dale, IL; 2 sisters & 1 brother-in-law, Martha Kruegar, Oklahoma City, OK, Julie & Mike Manek, Choctaw, OK; 6 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Adam, Claudia, Louis, Katie & Gabrielle Klimkowski. Rosary service will be held at 6:40 P.M. with Wake service at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 3, 2004, at St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at St. Teresa?s Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
