Rosemary Birdsong

Rosemary Birdsong, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on February 26, 1920, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life Saturday, April 19, 2014, at her home in Chandler, at the age of 94 years. Rosemary was the daughter of Jack and Cordelia (Brosseau) Meadows and the granddaughter of Alvin & Luccita Meadows who made the land run of 1893, which opened up Lincoln County to settlement, which she was very proud. She married Eddie Birdsong on October 9, 1939, in Yukon, Oklahoma. Rosemary worked as a seamstress for many years. Her parents, husband, three brothers, and one sister, preceded Rosemary in death. Survivors include, three sons, Ed Birdsong of Chandler, Ross Irvin Birdsong of Chandler, and Ronnie Dale Birdsong of Edmond, Oklahoma; two daughters, Carole Dutton of Chandler, and Judy Loper of Chandler; one sister, Jean Meadows of California; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, Oklahoma, with Mike Ogle officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
