Rose Marie Johnson

Rose Marie Johnson, passed away on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 in Paden, Oklahoma at the age of 84. Rose was born on July 19, 1938 in Paden. She was the daughter of Arthur Gibson and Helen (Harbison) VanZant. Rose grew up in Paden and was a graduate of Paden High School.

Rose had a passion for the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, fishing and working in her yard. She also liked to make quilts and embroidery. She got great pleasure from spending time with loved ones and especially loved when the children in her life came to visit.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John VanZant; her sister, Joy Dell Richmond and three brothers-in-law, James Richmond, Edward Dukes and Coy Shivers

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Nottnagel of Prague; two sons, Jimmy Casey and Charles Casey; her grandchildren, Julia Nottnagel and Jaxton Nottnagel; three sisters, Dolores Dukes of Tulsa, Wanda Shivers of Paden and Shirley Bean of Paden and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
