Ronald Edward Newton

Ronald Edward Newton, Norman, Oklahoma, resident was born March 18, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he departed this life on December 1, 2017 in Norman at the age of 60 years. He was the son of Clyde and Wanda (Campbell) Newton. Ronald grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Capitol Hill schools, He served in the Oklahoma National Guard. Ronald moved to Chandler Oklahoma and raised his family. Ronald worked as an Oil Rig Manager for most of his life. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, riding four wheelers, and spending time with his family. His parents, one sister, Clydetta and one brother Richard preceded Ronald in death. Survivors include, his only son Rodney Newton, daughter-in-law, Amy Newton both of Norman, Oklahoma; His sons mother Glenda Newton of Moore Oklahoma; One sister, Clydena Newton of Shawnee, Oklahoma; And two grandchildren, Konnor and Tripp Newton; other relatives and many friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma, with his family receiving friends from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
