Ronald Curtis Underwood

Ronald Curtis Underwood, 80, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at his home in Chandler, Oklahoma.

Ronald was born on November 29, 1943 to Curtis Basil Underwood and Lydia Lovella (Hines) Underwood. He was raised and attended school in Spencer Oklahoma.

Ronald married Janet Kay Grandstaff in 1964.

Ronald was a roofer until he retired. He enjoyed watching westerns, crime shows, and WWE wrestling. In addition, he enjoyed listening to the blues and bantering with his family.

Ronald was proceeded in death by his parents, Curtis and Lydia Underwood, a brother Bill Underwood, sister-in-law, Carolyn Underwood, brother-in-law Ozcar Vallejo and step-father Lewis Lacher.

He is survived by his children, Jurl Underwood and wife Brenda of Eufaula, Oklahoma; Tina Tait of Chandler, Oklahoma; Michele Underwood of Chandler, Oklahoma; a sister, Julandis Vallejo of Moore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews as well as many other family and friends.

A graveside service is set for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma.
