Roderick Earl Daniels

Roderick E. Daniels, age 53, of Harrah, OK, was born on August 15, 1955, in Killeen, Texas. He was the son of Hubert & Zula Fern Cagle Daniels. He left this life on Sunday, May 17, 2009, in Harrah, OK. Rod worked as an aircraft mechanic at Tinker AFB, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the McLoud Masonic Lodge. Rod was a social person and loved his children and grandchildren very much. He loved Sunday lunches with his brother, Lee and Thursday dinners with his mom. He enjoyed farming, raising Angora goats, sci-fi movies, target shooting, dancing, motorcycles, shooting pool, taking care of his grandkids and spending time with his best buddy, his Mastiff, 'Sir Toad'. Rod was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Zula Daniels, Harrah, OK; son & girlfriend, Rod 'Rowdy' Daniels & Ali Ellis, Yukon, OK and his mother, Becky; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Shawna & David Lechner, Tulsa, OK and her mother, Janice; Brandi & Jeremy Rickey, Spencer, OK and her mother, Janice; step-daughter & spouse, Audre & Chad Condrey, Harrah, OK and her mother, Becky; brother, Hubert 'Lee' Daniels, Harrah, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Teresa & Mike Talbott, McLoud, OK; 9 grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Allison, Skyler, Aaliyah, Emily, Tyler, Chelsea & Wyatt and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Tony Alvarez officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
