Robert W. Bob Powell

Robert W. Bob Powell, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on August 28, 1918, in Prague, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 16, 2004, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Robert was the son of James O. and Jessie Myrick Powell. He married Virginia F. Hopper on November 27, 1980 in Stroud, Oklahoma. Robert was an oil field pumper and was a member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church. His parents, first wife; Ruby, son; James, daughter; Francis Ivey, sister; Melba Bell and nephew David Bell preceded Robert in death. Survivors include: Wife: Virginia Powell of the Home; Two sons: Frank Powell of Harrah, OK; Danny Hopper of Broken Arrow, OK; One daughter: Becky Hopper of Edmond, OK; One brother: Jack Murry of Albuquerque, NM; 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren.
