Robert Vaughn Hays

Robert ?Bobby? Vaughn Hays, age 44, of Harrah, OK, was born on March 9, 1963 in Midwest City, OK. He was the son of Larry & Sue Hays. He left this life on Sunday, September 9, 2007 in Oklahoma City, OK. Bobby graduated from Harrah High School in 1982. In 1985 he joined the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Forrestal aircraft carrier. He was an aircraft mechanic at Tinker AFB in Midwest City. Bobby enjoyed cooking, gardening, snow skiing and deer & turkey hunting. Bobby was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents. Survivors include two daughters & one son-in-law, Faith LynNell Hays, Oklahoma City, OK, Kelsey & Vincent Equigue, Oklahoma City; his parents, Larry & Sue Hays, Harrah OK; sister & brother-in-law, Michele & Treves Cogdill, Harrah, OK; paternal grandmother, Lois Hays, Del City, OK; two grandchildren, Gage & Layla Equigue and many other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the VA Hospital, Grace Living Center and Good Shepherd Hospice for their loving care. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK with Rev. Jimmy Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
