Robert Leo Mills was born on October 18, 1925, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 85. Leo, the son of Robert Lincoln and Loy Estelle (Willis) Mills, was a resident of Prague. Leo was a decorated World War II veteran who proudly served his country as a Marine. He was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in action against the enemy at Iwo Jima, Volcano Islands. He married Pauline Marrs on December 22, 1945, in Carnegie. She preceded him in death on November 15, 1987. Leo and Betty moved to the Prague area in 1984. He retired from General Electric following 32 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Oklahoma Equestrian Trail Rider's Association, and the Disabled American Veterans. His parents, two brothers, and four sisters also preceded Leo in death. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, R. C. and Tonya Mills of Prague; daughter and son-in-law, Patti Ogden of Henryetta; grandchildren, Robert Alan Mills of Arlington, TX, Eric Michael Mills and his wife Sheila of Argyle, TX, Jeffrey Christopher Mills and his wife Mandy of Sachse, TX, Natasha Dawn Davis and her husband Ron of Prague, Michelle Green and her husband Jason of Choctaw, Amy Drabek and her husband Clint of Moore; 10 Great-grandchildren; and sister, Iva Lee Black of Lawton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM, at First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Mark Milligan and Rev. Kevin Wehrli officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
