Robert Lee Yoachum

Robert Lee Yoachum was born on November 9, 1922, in Moore, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Robert, the son of Alvin Marrien and Ida Mae McCane Yoachum, was a resident of Prague. He married Hattie Etta Crabtree on August 31, 1973 in Oklahoma City. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from the Carpenter?s Union following a career of 55 years during which time he served as a chairperson twice. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague and the Masonic Lodge #209 of Prague. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and one step-son. Survivors include his wife Hattie of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Yoachum of Prague, Jimmy and Carolyn Yoachum of Texas; step-son, Darrell Jones and his wife Sheena of Shawnee; daughter; Judy Hand of Yukon; brother, Hurbert Yoachum of Tucson, AZ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mava and Raymond Falkner of Scottsdale, AZ, and Jean and Jay Hooper of Oklahoma City.
