Robert Lee Thomas, Iii

Robert Lee Thomas, III, was born on December 6, 1970, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, August 27, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 38. Robert, the son of Robert Lee Thomas, Jr., and Gloria Jean Ellis, was a resident of Shawnee. He married Valerie Lynn Harjo on September 25, 1992 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Robert worked as a slot tech assistant manager at FireLake Grand Casino. One son, Robert Lee Thomas IV, and one brother, Taj Thomas, preceded Robert in death. Survivors include his wife, Valerie Thomas of the home; father, Robert Lee Thomas, Jr.; mother, Gloria Jean Ellis; sons, Natthan Ross Harjo of Shawnee and Christian Tre Thomas of Shawnee; daughters, Whitney Sunrise Thomas of Shawnee and Madison Louise Thomas of Shawnee; brothers, Miles Thomas of Shawnee and Joel Thomas of Shawnee. Tribal services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 7:00 PM, at the Sac and Fox Community Center in Stroud. Burial will be at the Sac and Fox Cemetery in Stroud on Monday, August 31, 2009, at 2:00 PM.
