Robert Lee Stanfield

Robert Lee Stanfield, age 68, of Shawnee, OK, was born on August 1, 1944, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was the son of Virgil & Addie (Allen) Stanfield. Robert left this life on Friday, March 29, 2013, in Shawnee, OK. Robert proudly served in the U. S. Navy. He retired from Tinker AFB where he was a welder. Robert married Clydene on August 4, 1989, in Gainesville, Texas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Warren, Arnold & Sonny and 2 sisters, Janice & Carolyn. Survivors include his wife, Clydene Stanfield, Shawnee, OK; daughter & spouse, Wendy & Shawn Watkins, McLoud, OK; 2 sons & spouses, Barry & Sue Cook, Broken Arrow, OK, Robert & Carol Cook, Webb City, MO; 2 step-sons & spouse, Dickie & Marla Smith, Chandler, OK, Carey Smith, Shawnee, OK; 3 step-daughters & spouses, Vickie & Bill Brown, Newalla, OK, Tracy & Kelly Howard, Panhandle, TX, Rhonda & Steve Meshew, Tulsa, OK; 4 sisters, Bea Edwards, Augusta, KS, Doris & Terry Tucker, Colorado Springs, CO, Brenda & Billy Hunter, Antlers, OK, Barbara Weathers, Antlers, OK; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the McLoud Assembly of God Church, McLoud, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
