Robert Lee Deer

Robert Lee Deer was born in Prague, Oklahoma on June 6, 1947 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 26, 2018 at the age of 70 years. Robert was the son of Sam and Audrey (Eversole) Deer. He was a resident of Sand Springs, OK for 43 years. He worked as a Supervisor for Union School District in Tulsa and loved to work on old cars and truck, and riding motorcycles. He married Rhonda Williams on November 11, 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, wife Rhonda of Sand Springs, one daughter Jeanette Sheffield and husband Shane of Valley Mills, TX. one brother, Sammy Deer of Mesquite, TX., six sisters, Dorothy McFarland of Showlow, AZ. Mazie Sanders of Del City, Carolyn Crowe of Ennis, TX. Samantha Deer of Davenport, Glinda McFerron of Chelsea, Anett Melson of Davenport, five grandchildren, Laurenn Taube, Dahkota Taube, Taylor Taube, Tanner Taube and Justin Brust, three great great grandchildren, Evann, Noah and Avery, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Church of Christ in Davenport on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Don Fuchs officiating.
