Robert Alan "Bobby" North

Robert Alan “Bobby” North was born on October 8, 1954, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life at his home on May 28, 2014, in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 59. Bobby, the son of William Gene and Billie Sue (Adams) North, was a life-long resident of the Little Community. He graduated from Strother High School with the class of 1972. He married Jennifer (Colbert) North on July 2, 1996, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He worked in the oilfield industry for over 40 years. He was the owner/operator of Red Fork Drilling Company, North Drilling Company and North Trucking, Inc. He was also a drilling consultant for Southwest Energy at the time of his death. His parents, daughter, Amber Gene North, and sister, Jeanie Lea North, preceded Bobby in death. Survivors include: his wife of 17 years, Jennifer (Colbert) North of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Hannah North of the home and Brittain and Jonathan Valdez of Holdenville; one grandchild, Easton Valdez of Holdenville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Janet North of Seminole and Teddy and Denise North of Seminole; other family and friends. The North family will receive friends on Friday, May 30, 2014, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 2:00 PM at the Little Church of Christ in Seminole County with Rusty Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
